Family fun on Simcoe County trails.
The Simcoe County Off-Road Riders Association (SCORRA) is a family-oriented off-road motorcycle riders club formed in December 2006. With an inaugural membership of 25, we have grown to become the largest off-road riding club in Ontario, with over 2,500 members and an inventory of more than 450 km of maintained, designated trails in Simcoe County.
We are a provincially incorporated not-for-profit corporation managed by a volunteer board. SCORRA is actively involved in establishing, maintaining and stewarding trails within Simcoe County. We host a number of events each year — rider training, trail and track rides, motorcycle maintenance, and club meetings — and we offer online trail maps to our membership.
A local club of the OFTR
SCORRA is a local club of the Ontario Federation of Trail Riders. You can join in on the fun by selecting SCORRA as your primary club affiliation when you join the OFTR — in doing so, a portion of your membership fees is directed to our club.
Funds raised through membership dues, event fees and sponsorships are used for trail building, maintenance, trail signage, insurance, club promotion and events.
Where we ride
Most of our trails are located in County of Simcoe Forestry properties, where riding is governed by the county’s recreation policy. If you ride an off-road motorcycle here you are required to have a valid trail pass (that is, an OFTR membership) and to stay on the designated trails.
Your bike must be licensed, insured, equipped with a spark arrestor, and quiet — 94 dB or less.
An OFTR/SCORRA membership is your trail pass, and it gets you access to some of the best single-track and two-track trails in the province.
