RideOFTR — the members-only mapping and GPS system.
The RideOFTR trail map system and app is an OFTR members-only web and mobile mapping and GPS system. You can use it to view and plan routes, or to be guided by GPS on your phone, across the vast trail network the OFTR and its member clubs have developed throughout Ontario.
SCORRA’s own map tool was retired on July 30, 2021. RideOFTR replaced it.

The OFTR also published a written getting-started PDF, but the copy the old site linked to has been taken down. Ask support@oftr.ca for the current version — and see CONTENT_REVIEW.md if you have the new link and want it restored here.
I’m a member — how do I get set up?
Access to RideOFTR is managed by the email address you gave the OFTR when you registered, plus a password that you set yourself.
On the web
- Go to oftr.evtrails.com.
- Click Forgot Password and enter the email address you used when signing up for your OFTR membership.
- You’ll get an email titled “RideOFTR – Password Change”. Follow its instructions to set your password.
- Return to oftr.evtrails.com and log in with your email address and new password.
- Bookmark that link for next time.
On Android or iOS
- If you haven’t already, register on the web first using the steps above — the same account works on both.
- Download RideOFTR from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Sign in with your email address and the password you set.
Trail difficulty ratings
The OFTR uses a trail difficulty rating system in RideOFTR. There’s a handy guide to it, along with other useful links, on the OFTR website.

RideOFTR accounts are administered by the OFTR, not by SCORRA. If you still have trouble after watching the video and reading the instructions, email support@oftr.ca — allow up to 24 hours for a reply.
