What this website collects, and what it does not.
Who we are
The Simcoe County Off-Road Riders Association (SCORRA), a not-for-profit corporation incorporated in Ontario. Our website is scorra.ca.
For any privacy question, email info@scorra.ca.
What this website collects
Almost nothing. scorra.ca is a static website. It has no accounts, no login, no comments, no database, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking scripts. It sets no cookies.
The one exception is the contact form. If you use it, the name, email address and message you type are sent to the club so we can reply. We use those details only to answer you, and we do not sell, rent or share them. The form is handled by a third-party form service on our behalf; your message passes through their systems in transit.
You can always skip the form and email us directly instead.
Our web host records standard server request logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability, as every web host does. SCORRA does not use those logs to build any profile of you.
Links to other services
Some things riders need are run by other organizations, and clicking through takes you to their site, under their privacy policy — not ours. The main ones:
- Membership and trail passes — the Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (OFTR).
- RideOFTR trail maps — the OFTR’s mapping provider.
- Event ticketing — the ticketing provider named on the event.
- Facebook — our club page.
Club membership records
This policy covers the website. Your membership record — name, contact details, membership type — is held by the OFTR, because your trail pass is an OFTR membership. SCORRA receives limited membership information from the OFTR for club administration, and uses it only for that.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information the club holds about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we must keep for legal, insurance or administrative reasons. Email info@scorra.ca.
